Godrej Appliances no service

Sir,
My 3rd A/C malfunctioned and since I am an Engineer could locate the fault with the motor
I lodged a complaint with Godrej on 17th July citing motor replacement
After lot of calls I was promised that service Engineer shall visit for repair by 22nd
when no one arrived I called and I was told people have gone on training and would be delayed for a couple of days
finally couple of fellows arrived, knowing fully well motor needs replacement they went back
They confirmed me to be back with a new motor by 27th

Samsung Service Center (18002668282)

I have made a complaint of my samsung window a.c. with samsung service center. they gave me complaint no. 8415326866 and they said the engineer will come after 2 hours. i have registered my complaint on 07-06-2010 in the morning time after that i have called them about 25 times and still they are saying that engineer will come within a hour. after lot of wait they said they cant do anything if their engineer does not come, they said they have forward my complaint to engineer many times but cant do anything extra. I am really wondering they dont have any control on their engineers.

Fine Computers

Dear All,

I purchased a DELL STUDIO 1555 laptop from “Fine computers”, India on 26-Apr-2010 paying Rs.48, 000.

After purchase I called the Dell customer support to cross check the warranty information and thus I came to know that the laptop belongs to AMERICA and not India. Also the shipment date is 11-June-2009 from America.

But the Fine computer person said me that, the same is shipped from Bangalore, India on 25-Apr-2010 and I have a one year onsite warranty.

So, I was totally forged by the FINE Computers & a secondhand Dell laptop without warranty was sold to me, stating it as a new one with onsite warranty.

"Fine computers" states himself as Dell’s dealer & he sells many DELL laptops saying that, it is a new one with onsite warranty. So we customers are betrayed using the DELL’s brand name.

I have all the proofs regarding the same, so kindly advice me what action is to be taken on “FINE Computers” regarding the same.

nokia phone network problem not rectified after repeated requests

I have a nokia 2700 classic under warrenty. My phone seems to disconnect abruptly during a conversation every now and then. I have given it to the nokia care many times to get it rectified but the problem wont seem to go. I am really tired of this problem and would like to seek your help.

IFB Elena Washing Machine Caught Fire

I bought an IFB Elena washing machine sometimes back. There were lots of problems with the machine and I was always busy with the customer care service. (Making calls, then waiting for the engineer, then facing some new problem, then again making call and so on....)

Situation became worst when the machine caught fire only after 24 hours of the service. I guess that there was some loose point left within the machine by the service engineer and it sparked when it was on load. About 10 cloths were semi burnt within the machine but somehow we managed to douse the fire.

Now the real problem starts. After making call to the customer care, they sent someone to check the machine after 3 days. He told that he has prepared the report and will send someone with the spare parts to repair the machine. My paid AMC was from March 2008 - Feb 2009. This incident was somewhere in June 2008.

Prestolite battery problem

I had purchased 2 Prestolite (Prestomaster 12000) inverter batteries on 20.03.2008. Even though regular maintenance was done it started producing much heat forcing me to stop using it. Is there any way to exchange or replace the same? or how to rectify / restore to normal functioning.

Nokia 3600 cellphone not working properly and it is underwaranty

I had purchased Nokia 3600 Slide Cellphone from Nokia priority Dealer(Sai Enterprises G-1, 21st Century Plaza Commercial Complex, Sector-8 Rohini Delhi-85) on Dated 04-11-2008. The Dealer told me that it has warranty of one year from the date of purchase.
Now the three key's of keypad in this phone is struck and they are asking to repair it at the cost of Rs.1622/-. Nokia Care issue me a Job sheet No. 145433527/091022/17 on dated 22.10.2009.

SU-KAM Power Inverter

I bought SU-KAM power inverter with battery 6 months ago. last month I got problem with backup time. I complained at Su-Kam customer care center on 20-10-2009 and got complaint number 1011147281. They said my problem will be solved in two days but nobody came. after that I have contacted 5 times with customer care but every time they said your problem will be solved in two days. I think, they does not care customers after sale.

Faulty Mobile phone sold by Motorola

1)Within 1 month of purchasing the phone I had a RF board replacement, I bought the phone on 26-June-09 and from 16-July-09 the phone was dead, and it was with service centre from 08-Aug-09 to 19-Sep-09.
2)While taking the delivery of the phone the person in the service centre in C.R. Avenue Kolkata misguided me by saying if I return my Job Sheet which was the only proof of that I had a problem with the set, then only he can give the delivery of the phone, but later on I came to know that was a false statement made by that customer service executive of Motorola, even they didn't provide me any papers for the RF board replacement and changed IMEI No.If now by any chance my phone is lost I cant lodge a FIR as I dont have any IEMI no for my phone.
3)After taking the delivery from the service centre again the phone was not working from 24-Sep-09. Again I had to take it to the sevise centre in Salt Lake, they did some repairing to the phone and delivered me on 30-Sep-09.
4) After taking the delivery on 01-Oct-09 again the phone was not working from 2-Oct-09. Again I had to take it to the servise centre and got the delivery on 05-Oct-09.

AGAINST SONY INDIA LTD.

I had purchased SONY CRT TV 21” on 14.04.2008. After one month on 14 May 2008 the set turned off after three and half hours. I switched off the set and again started it, again after 10 minutes it turned off automatically. I contacted dealer M/S Jyoti Electrovision, Kalyan(W), Pin 421 301, (Phone 0251-2318 115) . After some days your DOMBIVALI Service Centre technician Sri Kishan attended the set. After discussing with the service centre authorities in the month of August 2008, technician Sri Kishan came and take out the mother board for repair. After one week he fitted the mother board and told that there is no problem in the mother board now.

Complaint against Fuji Film Digital Camera

This is a complaint against digital camera. I have taken FujiFilm digital camera in 8th Aug, 2009 from M.G. Electronics, Khanpur, New Delhi with a warranty period of 3 years. After using one month, I found a technical switch on/off problem with camera. I registered a complaint with Fuji Film in Sept, 12, 2009 with complaint no. DEL22090901. They have service center at A-9, Mohan Cooperative Industrial area, New Delhi-110044. I have repeatedly called for my status. They mentally harassed me and said the products has not come from Japan and will take some time. I have also visited the service center to get the produt but still they misbehaved with me. Still, I don't know when do I get my camera. Is this the right way to provide the service to customer by misguiding this. They sell the product with false promise but cheating the citizens of India. This is a request from my side to see this case and take action.

not satisfied with the product

i have purchased a battery for inverter in the end of june 2008 and it becomes dead in the month of july 09. as per company the warranty period is one year.
my ques is if there is a gurantee of a product for 1 year then is it possible that the product lasts for only one year? the company says that 1 percent piece is of such type but can not be replaced as the warranty is over. local dealer saying that if company allows then it will be replaced.
normally the life of any battery is 3 to 5 years but my battery is dead just after 1 year. it is the fault of the battery and the company is not replacing it.

Whirlpool washing machine breaks down in 2 months

We purchased this washing machine on 23rd May from one of the popular electronics showroom Croma from Juhu. First we were troubled with the delivery as the peice we received was damaged. they replaced it which again took a weeks time to get it right.
Now after a month this machine has stopped functioning due to a circuit failure and we have been waiting since last 2 weeks to get it fixed, the croma officials are informed about it and even they seem to be doing nothing for this.

I hope if you can help us to expedite this process and get us a replacement of this machine as we have had enough from whirlpool.
